Welcome to the official online home of the East Bench Community Council district in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our boundaries include the homes east of Foothill Drive to the boundaries of the Wasatch National Forest and from Parley’s Canyon to Sherwood Drive.

Our monthly public East Bench Community Council meetings take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except July and December) at 7pm at Anderson-Foothill Library. Each month the SLC Fire Department, Police Department, the Salt Lake City Mayor community liaison, City Councilman Charlie Luke, and our East Bench emergency preparedness team provide official reports and updates and take our questions and feedback. In addition, we have a special guest each month who presents on a topic we believe is of interest to our residents.
